●Work closely with R&D team, Marketing, Packaging, Legal and Supply Chain teams to ensure all developmental milestones are achieved based on launch timelines.
●Evaluation & testing of raw material from a large number of vendors to ensure requirements of R&D and Production.
●Provide logistic support and play a significant role in helping and supporting the R & D Department in taking production related decision-making. Also tracking progress of the R&D efforts, pre and post-production including outsourced vendor’s/service providers.
●Delivery of results as per timelines in the overall Launch Program Management schedule.
●Develop at least FOUR new product concepts per year that fit with need-gaps in the line or new business opportunities.
●Be abreast of new trends in and out of the industry w.r.t to formulations and ingredients.
●Have thorough knowledge and analysing stability tests to ensure compliance with industry standards and governmental regulations.
●Making reports and analyzing reports for ingredients/ formulations.
●Research competitive marketplace for new products.
●Work with marketing on product architecture and future innovation pipeline.
●Setting up processes for maintenance/ storage of Raw materials and finished products to ensure no spoilage and long shelf life.
●Analyze and understand the positioning of the product, service or process.
●Provide all details including reports of R&D, planning and control (PPC) focus including all the stock, inventory status reports, presentations and other deliverables as per schedules presented by external vendors associated with the project.
Ensuring new products being introduced through new formulations or private labelling are in line with the brand values ( harsh chemical free, vegan, etc)

Work Experience:
Essential: Heading R&D Category or Senior R&D Chemist having 5-6 year’s experience in Home & Personal Care, Beauty & Wellness Category, products For external usage only.
