Job Description :




Position: HOD - Commercial Location Ahmedabad
Reporting to: Executive
Director Experience : 15 to 20 years
Qualification : CA, MBA (Finance) Age : 40 to 45 Years
Team Size: 4 people
Responsibilities Prepare purchase and import strategies in
consultation with ED.
Suggest/ frame policies and
procedures for the procurement of goods and services and implement the same
Suggesting criteria for vendor
performance evaluation and transparently evaluate the same.
Plan purchases based on demand
forecast, production planning and inventory levels.
Identify potential
suppliers,engage with existing suppliers on an ongoing basis and build
relationships with them.
Negotiation with vendors.
Forecast price trends and
prioritize purchase activities accordingly.
Issue of contracts compliant with
central policies and monitoring the contract execution.
Ensuring timely execution and
renewal of contracts with the vendors.
Negotiating and dealing with the
vendors/services providers at the time of closure/expiry of contracts.
Processing of bills in relation
to some specific contracts and closure of contract.
Vendor performance management.
Material requisition planning
where requisition is not received.
Generating RFQs and Preparations
of Comparative quotes.
Prepare/Authorize purchase
orders.
Coordination with vendors for
documents and material.
Statutory compliances relevant
to and as required of the procurement function.
Ensuring compliance of
contractual, Legal and regulatory requirements in consultation with Legal
Department.
Evaluating appointment proposal
of C & F, Super Stockiest, negotiating the commercial terms with the said
agencies and finalizing the agreements in consultation with our Finance &
Legal Department.
Visit the C & F, SS and
Distributors from time to time and monitor the operation
