Main Responsibilities
Oversee the daily collection, cleaning, and validation processes of fund-related data to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Serve as SPOC for ETF (sub-product).
Interact with a Scrum Team for identifying and resolving issues with automated processes
Lead initiatives to identify and address errors, duplicates, and data integrity issues, ensuring reliable and consistent data management.
Serve as the primary Subject Matter Expert (SME) and point of contact for fund-related datasets, guiding both internal teams and external stakeholders.
Respond promptly and effectively to fund data-related inquiries from clients and internal stakeholders.
Lead the expansion of data collection efforts, proactively identifying opportunities to enhance and diversify fund data acquisition.
Be the first point of contact for new hires and lead/guide/train analysts.
Assist Assistant Manager/Manager in preparing comprehensive reports on incident reporting, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), fixes, and work in progress on key metrics and insights.
Maintain and update documentation on fund data sources, processes, and methodologies, ensuring accessibility and clarity for internal teams.
Collaborate closely with data engineers to establish and optimize fund data pipelines, enhancing the flow and efficiency of data processing.
Participate in integrating the existing fund dataset with internal next-generation platforms.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelors or masters degree in science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Finance, Accounting, or related fields.
3+ years of experience in the funds or indexing industry, particularly in data, analytics, or finance-related roles.
Strong understanding of financial instruments such as ETFs, Mutual Funds, and other relevant asset classes.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills, specifically in the context of financial data.
Key Skills
Experience in corporate actions, fund holdings, indexing and fund space.
Operational knowledge of SQL.
Ability and willingness to adapt to fast-paced environment and shifting priorities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
Willingness to step into supervising the team as needed.
